Event Management
Today, people of all ages continue to be drawn to
Connecticut’s Old State House. More than a museum, this centerpiece
of Connecticut’s history has been magnificently restored and hosts a
variety of community and cultural events, and can even host your
wedding, corporate function, book signing, lecture or other event.
New Management
Recently, the Connecticut General Assembly has assumed the
responsibility for operating Connecticut's Old State House.
Strategic Business Solutions, LLC (SBS) has been contracted for
event management and community programming.
What It Means To You
We will continue to rent many of the Old State House’s rooms and
grounds for public enjoyment. The historical significance and
tradition of the Old State House as the premier cultural gathering
place in Hartford will be restored as we develop and improve many of
our event rental services. So many wonderful possibilities exist for
you and your organization.
All of us share the responsibility of cherishing, protecting and
preserving this remarkable National Historic Landmark for years to
come and we very much appreciate your interest in hosting your event
